Looking For A Few New Members

The Calumet Region of the Model "A" Restorer's Club is always looking for new members with which to share our love of the Model "A" Ford Automobile. We participate in many family related activities throughout the year including tours, picnics, poker runs, technical seminars, safety checks and, once a month, just get together for breakfast.* Our business meetings are held on the 1st Thursday of each month at Chicago High School for Agricultural Sciences, Library, 3857 W. 111th Street, Chicago, IL. Call to order is at 7:30 sharp. Why not stop by and let us show you what our hobby is all about? You don't have to own a Model "A" to join us.

* Take a look at some of our past "Chatters"

A Note From Your Officers

Purpose

This is your club. As such, you can only expect to get from it what you, the members, put into it. We are always looking for fresh, new ideas regarding events, tours and other activities that you would like to participate in. Bring your suggestions to a business or planning meeting, volunteer to work at an event, chair an event, and by all means attend an event and get involved. As we've said so many times, don't be afraid to drive that "A" with our group, we will never leave you stranded! Think about this, that "A" of yours has been around a long time and it's still providing reliable transportation to you! Do you think your modern car will still be around in 70 years? We hope to see more of you "On The Road" with us this year!

Your officers for 2008

"The general purpose of the Calumet Region of the Model "A" Restorer's Club shall be to encourage its members to acquire, preserve, restore, exhibit and make use of the Ford Model "A" automobile, model years 1928 through 1931, and all things pertaining to the Ford Model "A", and to promote the introduction of ideas and fellowship among M.A.R.C. members." You need not own a Model "A" Ford, but you should like ice cream!
